A ceremony for the premiere and online release of Chinese Practice with Chinese Wisdom, a cultural TV program series created and shot by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, was held in Beijing on Sunday. Among the leaders who attended the ceremony and delivered speeches were Cao Shumin, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, and Zhang Aijun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Provincial Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Provincial Committee. Yang Xiaowei, Deputy Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, presided over the ceremony.

Cao Shumin pointed out that the creation and premiere of Chinese Practice with Chinese Wisdom is an important measure to study, promote and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also a practical action to study, promote and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on cultural inheritance and development symposium.

Radio, television and online media platform should thoroughly publicize and interpret General Secretary Xi Jinping"s new ideas, new views and new comments on cultural construction, promote the creation of more excellent programs that highlight the spiritual logo and cultural essence of Chinese civilization, and show the great achievements of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era so as to gather systematic resources, and do a good job in the aggregation and dissemination of excellent TV programs.

Zhang Aijun said that the premiere and online release of Chinese Practice with Chinese Wisdom is not only a practical action to learn and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping"s important speech on cultural inheritance and development, but also provides a high-quality audio-visual product for the ongoing education campaign on study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

On behalf of the producer, Ge Lai, president of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, briefed the ceremony on creation of Chinese Practice with Chinese Wisdom.

Integrating the basic principles of Marxism with the excellent traditional Chinese culture, the news program series not only traces back to the source and deeply interprets the origin and evolution of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also borrows from the past to explore the present, in addition to deeply elaborating on the significant creative contribution of the integration to the adherence and development of Marxism. While accurately elaborating on theories, the TV news program series is also making innovative presentation methods by integrating the excellent traditional Chinese cultural traits such as poetry, calligraphy, seal cutting, and traditional Chinese opera and martial arts in a bid to provide the audience with cultural enjoyment of beauty and vividly presenting the great practice of creative transformation and innovative development of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

JSBC sent 6 teams of filming crews to communities, villages, factories and mines in 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, with the aim of verifying theory and practice and demonstrating the truth and practical power of the Party"s innovative theory.
