Personal certificate for housing provident fund is to be processed with a mini program QR code, according to a circular issued recently by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development.
According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, housing provident fund management centers in various regions should provide real-time online issuance and backend automatic verification services to housing provident fund depositors by relying on the National Housing Provident Fund Mini Program and the National Housing Provident Fund Supervision Service Platform.
When the depositor of housing provident fund applies for personal certificates such as "Employee Deposit Certificate", "Certificate of Payment and Use of Foreign Loan Deposit", and "Loan Settlement Certificate", the housing provident fund management centers in various regions should use a unified electronic code to replace the original three-paper certificates, ensuring that the personal certificate of current housing provident fund is processed with a QR code.
According to the arrangement, the relevant functions will be launched and operated on the National Housing Provident Fund Mini Program and the National Housing Provident Fund Supervision Service Platform before the end of August this year. The original paper-based certificates and issuance methods will be used in parallel and effective, with a transitional period of one year. Starting from August next year, personal certificates for housing provident fund will be fully processed by using QR codes.
