A return freight train loaded with imported aluminum ingots from Russia arrived at the China-Kazakhstan Logistics Base in Lianyungang on Wednesday.
This batch of goods consists of 400 TEUs in 4 train carriages with a total cargo volume of 5000 tons. They will be transported by sea from Lianyungang Port via "Lianshen Express" to the delivery warehouse of Shanghai Futures Exchange on Friday. The successful intermodal transportation of the first Russian aluminum ingot return train has effectively improved the service capacity of the entire process supply chain of the "China Europe Freight Train+", and stabilized the brand of the Central Asia and China Russia eastbound channel routes. At present, the supply of China Europe freight return trains in Lianyungang covers more than 20 categories, including agricultural products, mineral products, and general chemicals.
