The 13th Jiangsu Book Fair kicked off Saturday in Suzhou under the sponsorship of the Provincial Government, the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Press and Publication Bureau, and the Suzhou Municipal Government. The 2023 China Press Association Collection Book Trading Conference was held concurrently.
Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee, visited the main exhibition hall in Suzhou.
The 5-day 13th Jiangsu Book Fair will organize excellent publication exhibitions, reading promotion activities, and industry exchange forums. Nearly 400 publishing and distribution units, over 80000 outstanding publications, over 500 suppliers, and 160000 books participated in the Jiangsu Book Fair.The main exhibition, which covers a total area of 25000 square meters, will hold more than 270 reading promotion activities.
The book fair will set up 165 sub-fairs and 2 online sub-fairs, including the Capital of World Literature themed book exhibition in Nanjing and the Xuzhou Huaihai book exhibition. More than 1700 reading promotion activities will be held in various venues throughout the province.
