Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People"s Congress, and Xu Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Governor of Jiangsu, met with the visiting Guangxi party and government delegation on Saturday.

The party and government delegation of Guangxi is headed by Liu Ning, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the People"s Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Lan Tianli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. On behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, Xin Changxing and Xu Kunlin, welcomed the visit of the Guangxi party and government delegation and thanked Guangxi for its long-term support for Jiangsu"s development.

Xin Changxing said that in recent years, people of all ethnic groups in Guangxi have thoroughly implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping"s important requirements for the work in Guangxi, and worked hard to create a new situation of magnificent Guangxi construction in a new era, so that Guangxi has made historic achievements in social and economic development.

He said the visit of the Guangxi Party and government delegation to Jiangsu for joint discussion and cooperation has provided us with important opportunities for us to learn from Guangxi.

The CPC provincial chief said Jiangsu will work with Guangxi to implement the major national strategies, promote high-quality development, step up opening-up at a higher level, give priority to green development, cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation, ensure the realization of a new chapter of complementary advantages and win-win cooperation, and make greater contributions to promoting the Chinese path to modernization.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the government of Guangxi, Liu Ning and Lan Tianli thanked Jiangsu for its long-term strong support and selfless help to Guangxi, and congratulated Jiangsu on its remarkable achievements in high-quality economic and social development.

Liu Ning said that Jiangsu is a major economic and industrial powerhouse that has played an important role in China"s overall strategy of reform, opening up, and socialist modernization.

Noting that the cooperation between Guangxi and Jiangsu has a profound friendship and solid foundation, Liu Ning hope that Guangxi will work with Jiangsu to implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, establish a sound consultation coordination mechanism, strengthen the cooperation in industrial parks, further deepen and expand practical cooperation in science and technology, digital economy, medicine, ports and shipping, culture and tourism, and agriculture, better serve the promotion of a new development paradigm and promote high-quality development.

During its visit to Jiangsu, the Guangxi party and government delegation inspected companies such as Tianjia Energy Technology, Simcere Pharmaceutical, Phoenix Contact, and Keyuan Intelligent Technology, as well as Turing Artificial Intelligence Research Institute and Cyber Communication and Security Zijinshan Laboratory.
