China will take multiple measures to narrow the gap in business environment between regions, said the National Development and Reform Commission at a news briefing held by the State Council on Thursday.
Since last year, China has actively encouraged and supported various regions to optimize their business environment according to local conditions, narrow the gap in business environment between regions, introduce a reform task list, break down the strong feedback from business entities, give full play to the comparative advantages of the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta, and drive the construction of a nationwide business environment. At the same time, China has strengthened regional collaboration and encouraged each region to learn from each other and launch innovative reform measures. China will accelerate efforts to build a first-class business environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Belt, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and some other regions, lead and drive the optimization of business environment and encourage the construction of more distinctive business environment brands in various regions.
