The release of new books, academic exchanges, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, a series of characteristic activities attracted readers from all over the province to immerse themselves in the books.

The Records of Huaiyang Cuisine in China and Dongguan Street Records released at the Book Fair explore the long and brilliant regional culture of Jiangsu while also get close to the modern life. As the first biography in Nantong named after a county, "The Biography of Haimen" provides a panoramic record of significant events, important changes, and important figures in Haimen"s history over the past century, opening up the cultural space of local chronicles and enriching the cultural connotations of Jiangsu.

In order to better inherit and promote traditional culture, renowned experts and authors were invited to share their creative experiences. On Monday, experts and scholars including Zhang Hongsheng focused on the publication of the "New Horizons of Overseas Sinology Research Series" to jointly explore the characteristics of overseas sinology research.

At the press conference for the new book "Cultural History of Ancient Chinese Literature", experts including Cheng Zhangcan and Xu Xingwu shared with the readers their research experiences. After 12 years of compilation, the 10 volume series carried out empirical research on the "continuity" of Chinese civilization, attracting a large number of readers.

At the Huaihai Book Fair in Xuzhou, characteristic publications of the Huaihai Economic Zone were launched, and cities in the Huaihai Economic Zone, such as Suzhou in Anhui, also displayed characteristic publications and cultural and creative products.
