East China’s Jiangsu province will make every effort to create jobs for college graduates, according to a human resources meeting held on Tuesday.
To help college graduates who have not yet been employed, Jiangsu will maximize job recruitment and expansion. For 110000 policy positions such as state-owned enterprises, public institutions, urban and rural communities, grassroots projects, and research assistants that have been developed, relevant departments will work together to accelerate the recruitment process and ensure completion by the end of August. At the same time, the province will make every effort to expand market-oriented recruitment channels, and the human resources and social security department will collaborate with leading internet workplace enterprises to open employment flagship stores, promote short video talent recruitment, and continue to carry out offline recruitment.
“By the end of September, Jiangsu will create no less than 10000 high-quality non-governmental positions with a monthly salary of over 6000 yuan and full payment of social security every week to ensure the employment of college graduates. In the second half of the year, Jiangsu will strive to develop no less than 10000 policy oriented positions and 200000 high-quality market-oriented positions”,Xue Yong, Director of the Employment Promotion Department of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, said.
In the meantime, Jiangsu will focus on emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and new energy so as to provide high-quality internship positions. In addition, the Human Resources and Social Security Department will cooperate with the Provincial Education Department and colleges and universities to count the number of unemployed college graduates and feed back the information to the employment public service institutions in the registered residence and permanent residence of college graduates.
